TSC Riders at Burton US Open this weekend
Cam StaveleyTSC Snowboarder Cameron Staveley will make his debut on the international snowboarding stage this weekend at the US OPEN of Snowboarding in Stratton Mountain Vermont.

Cameron who has been a part of TSC for the past 3 years has had an amazing season already, being picked for the Australian junior development halfpipe team he spent 6 weeks in Copper Mountain training in one on the best halfpipes in the world, along side his older sister Lauren (who placed 4th in the US Open junior jam last year) and little brother Luke who were both also selected on the team.

Cameron returned to Australia for school in early January and has just returned to the USA with his Dad Rowan for a 10 day training stint before snowboardings most prestegious event. Competing in a warm up event last weekend Cameron placed 3rd in the U15 Junior Grand Prix Rail/Slopestyle event in Killington.

Recently being picked up by Rip Curl Cameron is one of our leading junior snowboarders currently participating in TSC. We wish Cameron all the best for the weekend!

Past Camper Scott James is also competing but this time in the open class field, Scott now 14, competed yesterday in Slopestyle and beat out some of America and Australias best pro's to make it through to the pre qualifiers. He has also already pre-qualified for the Halfpipe after taking out 1st Place in the junior jam last year. Scott now lives and trains in the USA with coach Ben Bright who also coaches his more famous sister Torah.
