We are in the process of finalising our full-time program for Semester 3 2009 and invite you to consider participation. Open to snowboarders between the school study years of Year 7 – Year 10, we are offering a live in home school family environment based at our Alpine Ridge Camp house at the base of Mt Buller.

The benefit of this program is that athletes can improve there snowboarding skills with more access to time on snow while also obtaining life skills. By living independently in a supervised environment each athlete will be responsible for helping the house run, cleaning duties, assisting with cooking, grocery shopping, while managing there own school studies and other day to day tasks of the house. These challenges along with ongoing snowboard coaching will help the athletes achieve there full potential in all aspects of there lives.

The tentative start date for TSC both full-time and weekends is Sunday 5^th July kicking off with the school holidays and with school scheduled to start Monday 13^th July and with Wednesday the 15^th July being the first day on snow.

TSC Coach, Christine will be the full-time live in carer, and supervisor,during study times answering questions and assisting where she can. If there is a requirement that a tutor be brought in we have the access of teachers in the Mansfield area.

What is included:

Accommodation
24 hour supervision
Coaching (5 days per week unless competing, coaching during Interschools is not included)
All Meals ( Athletes will need to make own lunch from food supplied)
Supervision and guidance in keeping up with school work, liaison with school teacher
Internet access

(Not included will be tutors if required)

On snow mid week coaching will be shared with coaches Luke Skywalker McDowell, Nick Reichstein, and Lisa Corcoran (Canada). With guest coaches.

We will be able to lock the final price in by the middle of March when Mt Buller gets back to us with coaching costs etc for training but to register your interest we need to know no later than March 31st.
