Hotham Slopestyle and Summer Camps |
HOTHAM SLOPESTYLE
We are heading to Mount Hotham on Sunday 12th September just for the day for the Hotham Slopestyle Event.
This event is a fun day out and open to every-one in TSC, this is the perfect first competition event in a no pressure environment for everyone.
We will be leaving the TSC house (Merrijig at 5.30am to get to Hotham in time for the competition) We have 8 seats available in the TSC Van and 7 seats in the Landcruiser. Both these cars will be returning from Hotham directly to Melbourne after the competition. We encourage parents to come support our team of junior snowboarders and help with the driving. We may also need to arrange a car departure from Mt Buller or have a massive slumber party at the TSC camp house Saturday night to cater for on mountain kids.

Entry forms for the event will be emailed out once they become available (CURRENTLY NOT OPEN). The costs for the day will be event entry, discounted lift ticket, gate entry and meals cost. If you have further questions please email me.
SEPTEMBER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
Just a reminder our last day of training is Tuesday 21st September. We will be having a BBQ and our annual Burton TSC team challenge which starts on Saturday 18th September. TSC Campers will return to Melbourne on the Wednesday.
SUMMER BRECKENRIDGE CAMPS EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Due to the new arrival to the TSC family we have decided to run our Spring Camp now in January. This camp is open to all riders in TSC and will begin right after Christmas. The camp will be overseen by Jarrod with Tom being our number one coach. . Car 1 (Jarrod): Depart Melbourne 4pm (Melbourne Grammar) to Mount Hotham Thursday 22nd July
Car 2 (Will): Depart Mansfield (TSC House) to Mount Hotham Thursday 22nd July 4pm
Slopestyle/Rails Competition Friday 23rd July
Big Air Competition Saturday 24th July
BX Competition Sunday 25th July
Depart Hotham for Melbourne and Buller immediately after awards ceremony of final event.

Costs: (To be invoiced after the event for the following).
- Accommodation: $220 per person (for team staying in accom only)
- Extra Coaching for Friday: Sat Sun already included in coaching fee's
- Petrol and gate expenses (for team travelling in vehicles only)
- Lift Tickets (for team staying in accom only)
Meals:
Athletes will need to bring money for own meals. There is a kitchen in the accommodation so we encourage everyone to prepare and cook as a group with a supermarket located on the mountain.
What to bring:
Sheets, pillow slip, towel, board shorts for hot-tub.
Pack lightly - no board bags just small backpack with outerwear. 4wd will be full.

We are getting in to the business side of the season already with a bunch of comps coming up earlier that usual. TSC are looking to make travel coaching and accommodation bookings for the TSC team for the first two events only 4 weeks away in July. If you are travelling with your family to the event we will still need confirmation of your participation so we can accommodate for coaching.
